    The New England SPorts Network (NESN) is looking to fill a number of openings in its Digital department.

    Digital Video Manager – is seeking a video production guru to manage the digital video production staff. The DVM is responsible for creative development, career and performance management, and recruitment of talent, among other duties. Candidates should have at least five years of video production experience and three-plus years of management experience.

    Assistant Content Producer – is looking for a skillful writer to contribute digital content. This is a year-long, contracted temporary full-time position, with an opportunity of being extended for another 12 months and a possibility of joining NESN as a full-time employee. Candidates should have a BA/BS in communications or a related field, as well as excellent writing, editing and news judgment skills.

    Journalism Resume Workshop at BU, Tues. Oct. 10, at 6 p.m.

    Are you applying for internships or jobs this fall? Come speak one-on-one with high-level broadcast, print, and online editors to get advice on making you stand out from the pack. We’ll have journalists from The Boston Herald, WCVB, NBC Boston, Comcast Sportsnet, WBZ TV, and WBUR. Please bring your résumés, work samples, and reels (bring your own laptops) to be critiqued.

    Journalism Scholarships

    The Journalism Education Foundation of New England will award a number of $1,000 scholarships this spring to high school seniors and college students in our six-state region who plan to pursue a career in journalism. This is a program that encourages and supports those who will staff and lead our newspapers in the next generation.

    The father of one of our members, Elizabeth Suh, is the editor-in-chief of POSTECH University’s Bilingual Campus Program in Pohang, South Korea. He is now recruiting for Chief Editor and Editor positions, responsible for visioning, translation and editing of materials.

    POSTECH Bilingual Campus Program
    Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in South Korea is a world-class research university, which launched a bilingual campus program in March 2010.  Most lectures at POSTECH are now delivered in English, and university documents and postings as well as publications and materials are extensively translated and produced in English.
    The Bilingual Campus (BC) Program is responsible for overseeing this ground-breaking venture, providing visioning, translation and editing of documents, articles, and transcripts. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of work promoting world-class innovation and collaboration across languages.
    POSTECH is recruiting for two positions within the Bilingual Campus Office: Chief editor and Editor.
    Responsibilities include:
